New Book and New Customers!

It's new book Saturday at Midnight in the Dollhouse

This weeks' book is the third one in our "Public Ledger" collection. It's called "The Unselfish Pig" and it's about a kind pig who teaches his selfish siblings about generosity. Full of beautiful illustrations, and available in both 1:10 (Hitty Size) and 1:12 (Standard Dollhouse Size).

We're also really tickled to have two customer photos to share!

This is Amaya reading her copy of "My Very Own Fairy Stories" on a rainy, New Mexico day.

Amaya lives with a Littlefee, named Ella, who has her own blog here - My LittleFee Adventures and sometimes she has adventures there too. :)

This is Maddy and Kilbey reading "The Little Prince". They live with an adorable, handmade cloth Hitty doll, named Caroline, who has a blog here - The Continuing Adventures of Hitty Caroline.

Many thanks to these wonderful little dollies for their orders, and for letting me share their pictures here!

More books soon, and we're working on some exciting new things too! Can't wait to show you! Have a great weekend!

New Book & New (Old) Management

TWO new books in the Midnight in the Dollhouse Etsy shop for this Saturday!

The one I was planning on releasing on the 9th is another one in that "Public Ledger" series (like "Punky Dunk" from last week.)

It's called "The Wise Mamma Goose" and I think it's just as adorable as Punky Dunk. I am so tickled with these little books. Can't wait to show you the one next week. :)

And in honor of the Masters, I felt I should release "Golf for Dummies" just in case your dollhouse has any future Green Jackets living in it. Or, just dolls who like hitting the green and need some pointers. Either way. :)

And I've got stuff up on eBay too. Miniature lots. There's bunches of stuff.

It's all good stuff. But even good stuff you can have too much of.

So, if you're in need of miniature stuff, you might check it out on eBay - Midnight in the Dollhouse eBay auctions.

And now... for something VERY exciting!

From top to bottom, this is Eve Woodley, Miranda Ixie, and Lottie Daw: They are the new management team at Midnight in the Dollhouse.

I believe my title is now just "manufacturing assistant".

And that is just fine with me. :) Hope you're having a great weekend too, no matter what your title may be. :)

New Book Saturday and That September Show Thing

One of the things I want to do with this Etsy shop for April is release a new book every Saturday.

I don't know if this is a good idea or not, so I guess we'll see how it goes. :)

Every time I make a new book, I find myself thinking "OH! This is my favorite!" But this week's book really is one I'm very excited about.

This week's book is "Three Adventures of Punky Dunk" (shown here in 1:10 scale, also available in 1:12).

Punky dunk is a kitten with a nose for trouble.

The book includes three adventures of Punky Dunk: Punky Dunk and the Spotted Pup, Punky Dunk and the Gold Fish, and Punky Dunk and the Mouse.

These little stories were originally published in the Philadelphia Public Ledger in the early 1900s.

They were published flat, on a double printed newspaper page, with instructions for folding them up and binding them with yarn to make a little book.

I was enchanted with these the second I saw them. I love the illustrations.

So anyway, that's what I've been up to. Figuring out books for the next 4 weekends. Well, that and...

It's about time to start thinking about the Denver Museum of Miniatures Dolls and Toys' annual "Fall Show."

Last year I brought a bunch of Midnight in the Dollhouse stuff and sold it at the Norm's Dollhouse table. It was GREAT!!

So do I do it again? Do I do it on my own? Do I share a table again?

I have things to contemplate, for sure. Well, and a boatload of stuff to make if I'm really going to do this.

Anyway, that's what's going on in my world right now. I promise this won't always be a "sales" blog, those are just the things at the forefront right now. But I still have houses to play with and finish (like that FAO Schwartz house. Oh... it's still here. Just waiting... And then there's Katie's House, which is ALSO still here, just waiting for some love and attention)

And I think I just landed a full time job (starting on the 22nd). So... BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!

Any thoughts on shows, books, houses, or anything I would love to hear! Tell me what you think in the comments! Thanks for coming and checking out my adventures, such as they are. More mini madness soon! :)
